Ladies and gentlemen, the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .
My wife and I are doing a weekend "vacation" to the local flea markets, mainly for stuff for the girls. I was looking through the various collections of die-cast cars, when I found this. It looked to me like a Lotus I had never seen, and then I found out it was the original concept for the Mustang. I thought it was one of those cars that Hot Wheels and Matchbox come out with, an off-the-wall design that never really was a thing. Well, apparently this one was and I never knew it.
I'm now very pissed off that this was not how the Mustang ended up.

I have a hot wheels version of that! I specifically picked it up because it was a very un-Mustang looking mustang.

You didn't know that?
You at least know of the Pontiac Firebirds, right?

I wouldn't be too pissed my friend. If the concept car would have become a Mustang odds are the Mustang and a lot of the muscle cars wouldn't exist today.

There's a video on JayLenosGarage.com from when they brought in the new 2015 mustang to his garage. They also brought that concept and the first 1964.5 mustang by. He got to sit in the concept car......a little jealous here.
